David “Dave” Schwartz ’96, P’30 is a partner at Ares Management, a leading global alternative asset manager. He serves as head of credit in the Ares Secondaries Group. Schwartz was previously co-head of U.S. Direct Lending, which he joined at the group’s inception in 2004. He also sits on the executive committee for the firm’s secondaries platform.
Schwartz serves as a member of the board of directors of Ares Management’s Charitable Foundation. Additionally, he is a trustee of the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan. Schwartz received a B.S. from Georgetown University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and three children.
