Playing the guitar and hiking

Jamis Fite graduated in winter 2024 with a B.S. in psychology from Loyola University Chicago. In Chicago, Mr. Fite tutored refugee students at Madonna Mission in Rogers Park; he has spent the last two summers working at the Loomis Chaffee School Summer Program as a faculty intern, English teacher and soccer coach. Mr. Fite competed at both The University of Michigan and Loyola Chicago as a goalkeeper on their Division I soccer teams, as well as for NPSL team Hartford City FC.

Mr. Fite grew up in Connecticut and enjoys playing the guitar and hiking in his time off. At SPS, he is a varsity boys soccer assistant coach and a fellow in the Boarding School Teaching Residency master’s program at the University of Pennsylvania.
