The Rev. Richmond Jones attended Jacksonville University and earned a B..A. in marketing. He walked on to the rowing team his freshman year and was captain during his senior year. After college, he worked for a social media start-up and a telecommunications group working to provide infrastructure to rural communities before experiencing a call to a vocation in the Episcopal Church. He attended the School of Theology at Sewanee for his Masters of Divinity. He began his service as a priest at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Macon, Georgia, and campus minister at Mercer University. He then served as chaplain and programming director at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Before coming to St. Paul’s School he was assistant chaplain, head boys rowing coach, Theology Department head and director of service learning at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia.
