Reading, psychology, history, gardening, hiking and snowshoeing

A 1983 graduate of the Advanced Studies Program, Dr. Peters returned to St. Paul’s School in 2022 to serve as the School’s director of counseling. A New Hampshire-licensed psychologist, most recently his clinical practice has focused on providing teletherapy services to children, adolescents and adults. For four years, Dr. Peters was the director of psychology at the Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Prior to that he was the assistant director of acute care services at Riverbend Community Mental Health Center in the Concord area, where his primary responsibility was running their Emergency Services program in partnership with Concord Hospital’s emergency department.

Dr. Peters is married to Jennifer, who has held several positions in the mental health and brain injury fields. Their son, Nathaniel, graduated from the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program in 2022. Dr. Peters’ hobbies include reading, psychology, history, gardening, hiking and snowshoeing.
