The Campaign for St. Paul’s School
This Campaign begins with confidence in the promise of St. Paul’s School, and we invite you to be a part of this ambitious and exciting effort. This is the time to fulfill a promise of enhancing excellence among our faculty, enrolling the most exceptional students from all backgrounds, and strengthening a fundamental community ethic of leadership, compassion, and service.
Campaign Priority: Faculty Support
At St. Paul’s School, teachers have been charged with the responsibility of nurturing the intellectual, moral, and physical growth of the students under their care. From its inception this model has depended on the assumption that versatile and fully engaged teachers would guide students in each of these areas. Changes in the demographics of the work force, internal and external pressure to provide specialized programmatic excellence, and an increasingly competitive market for talented faculty threaten St. Paul’s School’s staffing model.
Enjoying the Lindsay Center
“The bright nooks in the hallways provide comfortable places for students to sit, and the whiteboards are very handy for them to write notes or do problems. I saw one girl filling the whiteboard with her notes in preparation for a test. The students love these spaces!”
— Jane Brandt, Head of Mathematics Division
“The Lindsay Center for Mathematics and Science has dramatically changed the teaching of engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
For the first time we can accommodate all students who want to take the FIRST Robotics course.
We have a 3D printer that has motivated students to learn CAD software.
Students love this space so much that there is a group of students who now spend hours in the lab outside of class.
Workspace and organization improvements have made projects much easier on students and much less of a mess and hazard.”
— Terry Wardrop, Science Teacher
