The Parents Association offers a variety of meaningful ways for parents and guardians to connect with the school community and support students, families, faculty and staff throughout the year. Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer opportunities available:
Host a Seated Meal
The Parents Association coordinates parent gatherings inspired by the student Seated Meal tradition. These events take place at locations around the world. Volunteers may host or help coordinate a gathering in their local area. This opportunity typically takes place in September or October.
Welcome Parents to Campus
Volunteers help create a warm and welcoming environment for parents and guardians during key school events. This includes assisting during Opening Days in September, Family Weekend in October, and Millville Days in January and May. These opportunities take place on campus.
Faculty Appreciation Breakfast
Volunteers work together to host an on-campus faculty breakfast as a way to thank and recognize the School’s dedicated faculty. This event takes place on campus in May.
Pelican Partners and Admissions Outreach
Parents may volunteer to serve as a friendly point of contact for new families during their first year at SPS through the Pelican Partners program. Volunteers can also assist with admissions outreach by hosting or attending receptions in their local communities and sharing a parent perspective. Pelican Partner volunteers are needed in late spring, and admissions outreach opportunities occur throughout the fall and early spring.
