What are the COVID-19 protocols for attending Anniversary Weekend this year?
All alumni and guests are required to be fully vaccinated and up-to-date on all CDC-recommended COVID-19 boosters to attend Anniversary Weekend. Please note, while this is the School’s policy, we cannot guarantee a 100% vaccination rate. For more information, please read our Visitors Policy here.
Why are you not allowing walk-in registration this year?
To safely plan for maximum capacity limits in our on-grounds spaces, we ask that all attendees register by May 23. The special circumstances of this year’s celebration — inviting three anniversary cycles back to grounds at the same time — creates an unprecedented impact on all resources (on campus, locally and regionally) required to provide a meaningful experience.
What is the alcohol policy during the Weekend?
No alcohol may be brought onto campus. Consumption of alcohol is ONLY to take place in the tents or designated reception sites, and only while the bar is open.
Can I come to campus if it is not my reunion year?
Yes. Anniversary Weekend is open to all alumni, but as in previous years, programming is primarily designed to celebrate alumni in reunion years.
What hotels in the area have rooms blocked for alumni?
You can find your form’s hotel block and other local hotel information here.
Will alumni be able to stay in the dorms?
Unfortunately, it is not logistically possible to have anyone stay in the dorms during Anniversary. Our current SPS students will have just vacated their rooms and the School will need to prepare for the arrival of students attending the summer Advanced Studies Program immediately following Anniversary.
Will there be transportation available to and from hotels and grounds?
Yes. The Anniversary-affiliated hotels in Concord will provide shuttle service to grounds for Friday and Saturday night events. Please look for additional information on times for shuttles at alumni check-in and at your hotel.
Will there be boat races this year?
Yes, boat races will take place on Saturday afternoon. You can sign up by May 10 to row in a boat.
Why are some forms having specific dinners and not others?
Based on discussions with form volunteers in planning for Anniversary Weekend, it was decided that we would prioritize form dinners on grounds for milestone reunions (25th, 35th and 50th). As with all decisions for this unique year, we are restricted by the total number of people we can accommodate safely in specific locations on campus.
Can our form create an event off grounds?
We do have some venues to recommend in the Concord area, but we cannot guarantee availability. We encourage you to reach out to your form director to coordinate any events for your form off campus.
Will we have access to buildings on the grounds?
While all outside spaces are available for alumni to visit while on grounds, only specific buildings will be fully accessible during Anniversary Weekend. Please refer to the full schedule of events for what will be open and when.
Will the school store be open during Anniversary Weekend?
Yes. Store hours during the weekend are: Friday, June 10, from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What time will on-campus events end?
Each night, on-campus events will end at 9:30 p.m. to be in compliance with local town noise ordinances and out of respect for families in residence on the grounds.
Are there family friendly activities during the Weekend?
Families are welcome to attend the Weekend festivities. There is a range of events and programs suitable for children during the day.
Will childcare be available?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare during the evening form gatherings this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Is there a cost to attend Anniversary Weekend 2022?
Similar to years past, there is a cost associated with some meals during the Weekend. Fees for these meals will be collected at the time of your registration.
Will there be parking on campus?
Yes, parking will be available throughout the grounds. However, due to the large number of alumni and guests expected, we encourage all visitors staying at Concord hotels to take advantage of shuttle services provided by the School.
Will there be ground transportation on the grounds?
There will be shuttle buses circling the grounds throughout the weekend, makings stops at key locations. For those with mobility issues, golf carts with drivers will be available between events and during the parade. You can sign up for this service on the registration page.
St. Paul’s School continues to follow guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding large gatherings.
