St. Paul’s School has a zero-tolerance policy for conduct that is at odds with our commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community. We have undertaken many important initiatives to ensure the safety, health, and wellness of every member of the School community. We have moved quickly and thoughtfully to lead what we believe is a much-needed and urgent national conversation around what has long been a difficult, but very important, topic for parents, students, and educators.

Details about our Living in Community residential life curriculum and the Building Healthy Communities initiative provide information about how St. Paul’s School is using its residential learning platform to educate the entire community on how to be respectful, kind, and to live honorably. Our SPS Handbook outlines School expectations and major rules as well as provides resources and contacts for reporting harassment or abuse of any kind. All faculty and staff members attend mandatory boundary training sessions that include updated information about the School’s Memorandum of Understanding with the Concord Police Department. St. Paul’s School and the Concord Police have updated the agreement to incorporate legislative amendments to the Safe School Zones Law that were passed during the 2018 legislative session and became effective in August 2018.

The School communicates regularly with the community members concerning sexual assault and the absolute necessity for the safe and respectful behavior of all community members at all times. All correspondence can be found here.

Students: Resources are available on the grounds through Clark House, the Dean of Students Office, the Chaplaincy, any faculty member, advisers, the Community Conduct Board (CCB), or through Lighthouse Services.*

Faculty and Staff: Staff members are encouraged to contact the Director of Human Resources and/or the Human Resources Office. They can also seek assistance from the Employee Assistance Program (1-800-327-0464, ext. 312) or through Lighthouse Services.*
