ELIGIBILITY
The Burke Scholarship will be awarded to selected students who live in California or Wyoming. In selecting recipients, personal characteristics such as maturity, independence, and self-reliance are important. Candidates should show patience and grace under pressure, as well as evidence of compassion, honesty, and trust. The candidate must be a good friend to others and open to new ideas, new points of view, and new challenges.
SELECTION PROCESS
All applicants from the eligible states will be considered for the Burke Scholarship. There is no separate application process. Finalists for the Burke Scholarship will be selected by the St. Paul’s School Admission Office and must apply for financial aid. Burke Scholarship recipients will be selected by Coleman P. Burke ’59 and his son Erik B. Burke ’87 and will be notified about their admission to St. Paul’s School on March 10.
