Parents

Family Weekend

Family Weekend 2018 is open to members of the SPS community only and will be held Friday and Saturday, October 19-20. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcomed onto the grounds for a weekend designed to provide a glimpse into the daily life of SPS students. Parents do not need to register unless you are bringing guests (siblings, grandparents, or friends). Parents will have a chance to attend shortened versions of their child(ren)’s classes and meet with advisers. All are invited to attend meals, athletic events, and dance and music performances. College advisory information sessions are also on the agenda.
On Saturday morning, we will be providing sibling activities for children in grades K-5 (grades 6-8 can either spend the day with their SPS sibling or attend Chapel and mini classes with their parents). The activities will include indoor and outdoor games, art projects, and age-appropriate movies. If your plans include bringing younger children for the weekend and you would like them to participate in the sibling activities on Saturday, you must sign up when you register online and complete the liability release. For the purpose of organization and adequate supervision, we cannot accommodate drop-ins on Saturday morning.
A schedule for the weekend  is available under the helpful links to the right. Please see the Visitor Center for information on area lodging and dining.

**Guest registration for Family Weekend is now closed. Your guests are still welcome to attend with you! Sign-in will be held in the Schoolhouse Reading Room. Upon checking into registration on Friday or Saturday to pick up your weekend materials nametags can be created for your guests. If you are interested in having your younger children participate in the Saturday Sibling Activity (grades K-5, during mini-school session) please reach out directly to Tracey Perkins tperkins@sps.edu. Preregistration is required for the Sibling Activity.
If you have questions about Family Weekend, please contact Rachel Benoit, advancement events coordinator, at (603) 229-5624 or at rbenoit@sps.edu. On behalf of everyone at SPS, we look forward to seeing you soon!
