St. Paul’s School is a Charter Member of School Year Abroad
, a secondary-level program that offers students in their V or VI Form year the opportunity to live and study in four different countries in Europe and Asia while earning academic credits that may be applied to their St. Paul’s School graduation requirements. The focus of the SYA experience includes the cultural immersion of living with a local host family while participating in an academic program that emphasizes foreign language acquisition. SYA courses in Math and English are taught by instructors from its member schools to ensure continuity in these core disciplines. In addition, SYA schools are also SAT and ACT test centers, ensuring access to all standardized tests. College counseling support, extracurricular activities, and organized regional travel complete the SYA experience.
SYA opportunities available for the 2017-18 academic year include China, France, Italy, and Spain.
