Family Weekend

Family Weekend 2019 is open to members of the SPS community and will be held Friday and Saturday, October 11-12. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcomed onto the grounds for a weekend designed to provide a glimpse into the daily life of SPS students. Parents do not need to register unless you are bringing guests (siblings, grandparents, or friends). Parents will have a chance to attend shortened versions of their child(ren)’s classes and meet with advisers. All are invited to attend meals, athletic events, and dance and music performances. College advisory information sessions are also on the agenda.
On Saturday morning, we will be providing sibling activities for children in grades K-5 (grades 6-8 can either spend the day with their SPS sibling or attend Chapel and mini-classes with their parents). The activities will include indoor and outdoor games, art projects, and age-appropriate movies. If your plans include bringing younger children for the weekend and you would like them to participate in the sibling activities on Saturday, you must sign up when you register online and complete the liability release. For the purpose of organization and adequate supervision, we cannot accommodate drop-ins on Saturday morning.
A schedule for the weekend is available under the helpful links to the right. Please see the Visitor Center for information on area lodging and dining.

School Holiday: October 13-15, ends at 7:30 p.m. (students can leave with parents after last commitment on Saturday).
