Family Weekend

THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, OCT. 14-16

Family Weekend 2021, taking place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-16, is open to members of the SPS community. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are welcomed onto the grounds for a weekend designed to provide a glimpse into the daily life of SPS students. This year, to provide programming that meets the needs of the broadest cross-section of families and aligns with the COVID protocols in place to protect our community, we’ll be offering a mix of virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences. Parents will have a chance to attend shortened, virtual versions of their child(ren)’s classes as well as a virtual college advisory information session. Families are invited to attend meals, athletic events, Chapel, and dance and music performances.

Registration is now open, and is required. Please register for access to a complete schedule of events and links for hybrid and virtual events as they are posted.

Your child(ren) may leave the grounds with you after their last commitment on Friday, Oct. 15. Students who leave campus must submit a REACH request by 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13. Please take note of the extended long weekend — students must return to the grounds by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19. Varsity athletes may have earlier practices and should check their schedule. Classes resume on Wednesday.

We're looking forward to seeing you!
