The Office of Off-Campus Programs offers a broad variety of experiences for St. Paul’s School students, from a year immersed in the culture and language of another country to a week working on a service-learning project in a different region of the United States. We have programs designed to accommodate students’ schedules, interests, and willingness to step into something new. Whether you’re interested in meeting students like yourself from other countries and cultures, furthering your language studies, or sharing in meaningful outreach, we are here to help you make it happen. So, please, take some time to look through our offerings, and don’t hesitate to let us know how we can assist you.

SCHOOL YEAR ABROAD
St. Paul’s School is a Charter Member of School Year Abroad, a secondary-level program that offers students in their V or VI Form year the opportunity to live and study in four different countries in Europe and Asia while earning academic credits that may be applied to their St. Paul’s School graduation requirements. The focus of the SYA experience includes the cultural immersion of living with a local host family while participating in an academic program that emphasizes foreign language acquisition. SYA courses in Math and English are taught by instructors from its member schools to ensure continuity in these core disciplines. In addition, SYA schools are also SAT and ACT test centers, ensuring access to all standardized tests. College counseling support, extracurricular activities, and organized regional travel complete the SYA experience.

SYA opportunities available for the 2019-20 academic year include China, France, Italy, and Spain.
