The SPS Girls Crew look forward to time on Turkey Pond this season. Sixth Form captains Elo Catlin ‘19 and Annie Lee ‘19 will lead the girls varsity crew on the water in the 2019 season. Their Sixth Form classmates also bring tremendous experience and leadership to Crumpacker Boathouse: Emily Abbruzzese ‘19, Delaney Eichorn ’19, Ali Kimball ‘ 19, Estela Lacombe Franca ‘19, Catherine Reynolds ‘19, and Kristin Van Everen ’19. They join a very strong core of returning fifth and fourth form rowers and a large and promising group of novices who are looking to make an impact this season. SPS is one o the founding members of the NEIRA – the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association. Over a dozen Olympians and over thirty junior, collegiate, and national team rowers started their love for the sport at SPS. We are proud to continue that tradition, focusing on our core values to build an inclusive and competitive crew of strong, powerful women who represent these values on and off the water.
After exciting and successful seasons in 2017 and 2018, the Big Red looks forward to another spring of hard work and competitive racing in 2019!
