Keiser Concert: Kiran Piano Trio
The Kiran Piano Trio presents an evening of masterworks from the chamber music repertoire, featuring Maurice Ravel’s “Piano Trio in A minor, M. 67” and Felix Mendelssohn’s “Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49.”
The ensemble brings together three accomplished musicians: pianist Amira Acre, violinist Zoia Bologovsky, and cellist Dorothy Braker.
Amira Acre began her piano studies at the age of three in Montreal and made her professional debut on CBC radio at age four. She studied with Abbey Simon at the Juilliard School and earned her doctorate from Rutgers University.
Zoia Bologovsky, a graduate of the Juilliard School, is an active performer in New England and has appeared with ensembles including the Portland and Springfield Symphonies, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Symphony New Hampshire, and others. She also serves as a music instructor at St. Paul’s School.
Cellist Dorothy Braker has performed extensively across the United States and is the founder and Artistic Director of Aliento Chamber Players. She performs regularly with numerous regional ensembles and serves as principal cellist and Outreach Director with the Portsmouth Symphony.
