Parent Day in Millville
Parents and their families are invited to join us on the grounds to experience a taste of winter at St. Paul’s School with their student and to connect with other SPS families.
The weekend begins on Friday evening, Jan. 23, with the following “pre-weekend” events:
- 7 p.m. | Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul
Join us for an original performance of “Immortality,” a musical setting of William Wadsworth’s poem “Intimations of Immortality” by SPS Director of Chapel Music Nicholas White. The one-hour concert is free and features the SPS Chapel Choir and the SPS Ballet Company.
- 8 p.m. | Barley House, downtown Concord
Parents are welcomed to an informal gathering for SPS families. A downstairs area has been reserved until 10:30 p.m.; refreshments will be provided.
Highlights of the day on Saturday include open theater and dance rehearsals; an informal winter walk of the grounds; a gallery exhibit featuring the works of Maine artist Kelly Moeykens; home hockey and basketball games; and the latest installment of the Parent Education Series. The conversation will explore how SPS intentionally cultivates a robust faculty and the systems we use to continually assess and support the student experience. The panel features Rector Kathy Giles, Vice Rector for School Life Theresa Ferns ’84, P’19 and Vice Rector for Faculty and Academics Lori Bohan P’24,’25.
We look forward to seeing you in Millville!
