The Rev. Dr. Jane-Allison Wiggin was born and baptized in the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, raised and confirmed in the Episcopal Diocese of Lower South Carolina, and sponsored for ordination by the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina.
Rev. Wiggin is an alumna of Furman University, where she earned her B. A. in English. As an undergraduate, she accepted the call to ordained ministry while hiking the Camino de Santiago. She went on to the School of Theology at Sewanee to complete the M.Div. Rev. Wiggin also earned her D.Min. degree from the School of Theology, studying post-pandemic parish recovery.
Rev. Wiggin served as chaplain at Christ Episcopal School in Covington, diocesan youth event coordinator, associate rector at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Orleans, rector of Historic Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans, and adjunct professor at Bard Early College New Orleans.
She is an avid reader, a spiritual director, and has traveled to 25 countries thus far.
