Prior to coming to SPS, Karen worked at Phillips Exeter Academy for 13 years, most recently as the Senior Deputy Director and Editor of Communications, where her responsibilities included a broad range of Exeter’s strategic communications programs, providing leadership on strategy, brand and message development across multiple audiences and channels. Karen has an M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction Writing and a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire in Durham.
