Kim Klem joined St. Paul’s School in the summer of 2025, bringing more than two decades of experience in independent school advancement. Before coming to SPS, she worked at Groton School for 12 years, and previously held development roles at Phillips Academy, St. Sebastian’s School and Middlesex School. Throughout her career, she has focused on building trusted relationships with alumni, parents and volunteers, and on fostering meaningful support of institutional priorities.

Ms. Klem grew up in the Capital District of upstate New York and earned her B.A. from SUNY Albany and a M.S. in nonprofit management from Columbia University. She shares her experience with The Wily Network’s CEO Advisory Committee and has served on the Women in Development and the CASE Breakfast Committees.

Ms. Klem enjoys connecting people, finding humor in everyday life, staying active and occasionally cooking dinner. Her son is a member of the Class of 2028 at The Governor’s Academy, where she serves as a parent fund volunteer.
