Sean Ryan earned a B.A. in mathematics and a minor in English and creative writing from the University of Chicago in 2022. There, Mr. Ryan worked for the Department of Mathematics as a teaching assistant, played on the club squash team, and volunteered for Chicago Public Schools.
Mr. Ryan came to St. Paul’s School in 2022 as a Mathematics Teaching Fellow, teaching SPS math classes while earning his master’s degree in education as part of the University of Pennsylvania Boarding School Teaching Residency Program. He earned his M.Ed from Penn in May 2024 and joined the faculty of the SPS Mathematics Department.
Mr. Ryan lives on campus and serves as assistant coach for the boys JV squash team.
