Reading, listening to podcasts, baking, traveling, hiking with our dogs
Ms. Bernier graduated from Haverford College, where she played on the basketball team all four years. Her summer as an intern in The Quest class with the SPS Advanced Studies Program was a motivating factor in choosing to start working at boarding schools.
After college, Ms. Bernier landed at West Nottingham Academy, where she taught English and psychology for five years before becoming assistant director and then director of admission. Most recently, she spent three years as associate director of admission and coordinator of international admission at The Governor’s Academy.
Ms. Bernier joined the SPS community in 2021 and worked for two years in the Office of Student Life. In July 2023, she moved to the Admissions Office and now serves as an Associate Dean of Admissions.
