William Snead joined the St. Paul’s School faculty in 2023 as a Mathematics Teaching Fellow, teaching SPS math classes while earning his master’s degree in education as part of the University of Pennsylvania Boarding School Teaching Residency Program. He earned his M.Ed from Penn in May 2025 and transitioned to a full-time faculty member that fall.
Snead earned a B.A. in mathematics and economics with distinction from Amherst College in 2023. At Amherst, he worked as a grader for the Department of Mathematics and was a member of the varsity cross country and track teams, receiving NESCAC All-Academic Team honors during his tenure.
Snead lives on campus and serves as assistant coach for both the boys varsity track and field team and the boys varsity cross country team.
