KC Hambleton returned to St. Paul’s School in 2022 after earning her master’s degree in Child Study and Human Development, with a concentration in Clinical-Developmental Health and Psychology, from Tufts University. Prior to graduate school, Ms. Hambleton taught biology, chemistry, and marine biology at SPS from 2018–2020. Drawing on her graduate work in positive youth development, she transitioned from the science classroom to the Dean of Students Office in 2023. As Associate Dean, she works closely with students, faculty, and families to support student well-being, development, residential life, and their overall experience at SPS.
Ms. Hambleton serves as assistant head coach for girls varsity lacrosse and girls varsity field hockey. She also has served as head of house in two girls’ houses, Kitt 3 and Con20, and continues to advise students in Con20. Her career in education was shaped by her own experience as a boarding student at Groton, as well as by the teachers and coaches who had a lasting impact on her.
