Something is always cooking at St. Paul’s School!

Whether it’s in the dining hall in Coit, the Kwok Cafe in the Friedman Community Center, or at one of the food trucks that come by on occasion, the food is varied, healthy, locally sourced and delicious. Our Dining Services team of professionals plan and execute hundreds of meals each week for the SPS community, offering inventive, varied menus that reflect the School’s international flavor and are inclusive of many dietary preferences and restrictions.

Coit Dining Hall

Coit Dining Hall offers three separate dining rooms in which to relax and enjoy a meal – the Upper, the Middle and the Lower. Our dining hall offers full breakfast, lunch and dinner items and healthy, between-meal snacks throughout the day.

  • Dry cereals and oatmeal
  • Fresh fruit and yogurt bar, smoothie bar
  • Eggs to order and make-your-own-waffles
  • Soup station, deli and salad bars
  • Pasta bar and panini specials
  • 100% fruit juice and infused water stations
  • Coffee bar, with cold brew and nitro options
  • Specialty sweets and ice cream cooler

Grab 'n Go Deli Bar

Providing a quick, convenient option to the dining hall when schedules are busy, the Friedman Community Center’s Grab ‘n Go Deli Bar offers sandwiches, salads, soups, fruit, and quick snacks for lunch Mondays through Fridays.

The Kwok Café

Sit down with your friends to enjoy smoothies, pizza, burgers and chicken fingers from the Kwok Café in Friedman Community Center, or place a to-go order and grab some snacks to stash in your room. The café has crowd pleasers and comfort food Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 9:30 p.m.

Students also can install the My Quickcharge app for online ordering and cashless payment at the cafe.

Seated Meals and Special Occasions

The daily dining experience is enriched by unique traditions and occasions that reinforce the strong sense of community at St. Paul’s School. At Seated Meals, offered at least once per term, we share a family-style dinner that features a special menu. Faculty members and student leaders host tables that bring together students from every form and other members of the School they might not otherwise get to know.

During the holidays, you can be sure that Dining Services will rise to the occasion with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and international menus eagerly anticipated by the entire School community.

Healthy Choices

Whole food ingredients and good nutrition begin here. We allocate more than one-third of our food budget for fresh, humane, and locally produced ingredients.

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and nut-free dining options are available at every meal. We do not cook with nut oils; nuts are kept in closed bins in a separately designated area of the dining hall, and any foods containing nuts are clearly labeled.

Students with food allergies work with the Clark House Health Center to document allergies and develop custom food plans in partnership with Dining Services.

Our part-time nutritionist is available to work with and support students with healthy eating, sports nutrition, or eating disorders. She also offers advice and insights with recipes and more in a weekly newsletter, Food for Thought, distributed to the entire SPS community.
