Donald Sullivan brings extensive experience in law enforcement, investigations and compliance, and domestic violence and sexual assault education to his role as Director of Safety and Compliance. After graduating from Kimball Union Academy, Donald began his career in law enforcement as a dispatcher in Belknap County, New Hampshire, before serving as a police officer, emergency management director, and the chief of police in Hill and in Alexandria, New Hampshire. He retired after 25 years in public service to work as a private investigator and security consultant before serving as independent compliance overseer at St. Paul’s School from 2021-2023.

Donald has extensive experience in the field of compliance related to school safety requirements. He has participated in several professional organizations over the course of his career, including certifying as a domestic violence instructor by FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Council). He also received the Honorable William D. Paine Award from the Governor’s Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence and the Beverly B. Seavey Community Service Award from Voices Against Violence.
